Our Large Dog Potty Box provides a spacious real-grass toilet area, ideal for medium and large dogs or homes with 2–3 smaller dogs. Perfect for apartment balconies, units and small backyards. 

Each potty box is handmade from Australian treated pine and designed to use real Bunnings turf, giving your dog a natural grass surface to toilet on.

A great alternative to disposable puppy pads and artificial grass, our large real-grass potty box provides plenty of room while creating a dedicated toilet area for your dog.

Large Potty Box Options

Our Large Potty Box is created using two Medium Boxes positioned side by side, providing a generous real-grass toilet area. It’s ideal for medium to large dogs or households with 2–3 smaller dogs. See Photo 1 & 2

Hinged Large Potty Box — POSTAGE ONLY

The Hinged Large Potty Box is designed for POSTAGE. It consists of two hinged Medium Boxes, which fold for shipping and open to create the full Large Potty Box area. See Photo 3 & 4

You will need:

• 2 × Medium Boxes
• 2 × pieces of Bunnings turf
• 1 × 25L bag of potting mix
• 1 × roll of plastic liner (multi-use plastic film – 2m wide × 5m long)

How to set up your potty box:

Step 1: Lay down the plastic liner and cut it to size. For outdoor use, cut small drainage openings in the liner between the timber slats. For indoor use, leave the liner intact.

For the Hinged Large Potty Box, repeat this step in both boxes.

Step 2: Add the potting mix evenly, filling the box approximately ¾ full and leaving enough room on top for the Bunnings turf.

For the Hinged Large Potty Box, repeat this step in both boxes.

Step 3: Place the Bunnings turf over the potting mix, then water the turf to help everything settle.

For the Hinged Large Potty Box, cut the turf evenly in half and place one piece in each box.

Step 4: Introduce your pooch to their new potty box! Remember to water the turf regularly to help keep it fresh and healthy.
